2 vaccines for HPV:
Gardasil 9(Merck): protects against 2 most common strains of genital warts and 7 main strains of cervical cancer. Approved in 2014.
Cervarix (GSK): protects against 2 cancer strains.
These vaccines make it less likely to catch but not impossible because there are 100 different strains.
There are 500 mcg of aluminum in the Gardasil vaccine.
There are 173 mcg in Cervarix.
